Ren Quinn

Biography

A St. George native, Dr. Ren Quinn holds a B.S. from Utah Tech University (2013) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Utah (2019). He teaches courses in programming, networking, and data science, and leads the Computer Science Seminar. His research focuses on distributed systems, networks, and data science. Dr. Quinn also advises the student computer science club (SOCS), coaches Utah Tech’s competitive programming teams, and mentors undergraduate researchers. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, reading, bullet journaling, and playing video games.
