The Master of Artificial Intelligence at Utah Tech University is a 30-credit, professionally oriented graduate degree designed for students and working professionals who want to build real-world skills in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
This applied AI master’s program focuses on hands-on, project-based learning in high-demand areas such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, intelligent agents, and generative AI.
The program is structured for working professionals, with a manageable 5 credits per semester across fall, spring, and summer terms, allowing students to progress steadily while balancing full-time employment.
Students learn to design, develop, evaluate, and deploy end-to-end AI systems that solve real-world problems across industries.

At this time, the Master of Artificial Intelligence program has not yet received approval for international (SEVIS) certification. As a result, the University is unable to issue immigration documents (Form I-20) for this program until such approval is granted.
Currently, the program is available to international students in an online format only. Students enrolled from outside the United States should plan to complete the program remotely. Because the program is delivered fully online, a U.S. student visa is not required for participation.
All international applicants, including those who have completed prior education outside of the United States, must demonstrate proficiency in Standard American English in accordance with University policy.
Program duration is 2 years over 6 semesters
Pacing is 5 credits per semester
Flexibility for Learners: HyFlex combines the terms “hybrid” and “flexible.” In a HyFlex course, students have the freedom to choose how they participate and can enroll in one of two modalities:
Attend face-to-face synchronous class sessions in person (in a classroom).
Participate in face-to-face class sessions via video conference.
